DU2DS CHALLENGE 44 - BLOOMS AND CHARMS!

Wow - another two weeks have just flown away which means that it's time for another Friday challenge at DU2DS.
 ***
Hope none of you lovely bloggers were caught in that amazing thunderstorm/rainstorm/snowball storm yesterday afternoon - was it just here in Leeds I wonder?!! (They weren't actually snowballs of course, just bloomin' big hailstones!) Half an hour later, the sun was shining.
*****
This fortnight's challenge theme is Blooms and Charms, and as usual a digi image is required on your project. (Full details and DT inspiration can be found by clicking the link above).
Thanks to all those who joined in last time - your projects were fabulous.
***
The beautiful image on my DT card is "Summer Blossoms", from the ever-so-talented Phindyand is coloured with Copics.
The two flowers (Woodware punch) are coated with Anita's Clear Gloss Finish, although the shine doesn't show up on the picture.
Beaded spacers have been added to the flower centres and a butterfly charm next to the Hero Arts sentiment.
Ribbons from stash, green card from SU.
***
Have a fabulous snowball-free weekend!

Such a beautiful card. I love everything about it.
No hail in Hull, just miserable black clouds and rain. Where has summer gone?

I can't even explain it but your card made me get goose bumps and then a little teary. Maybe it just hit the spot, your beautiful clean design lets the image work perfectly with the sentiment and my girl is about the same age - two years in a month.
Thank you so much!

Wow Sylvia, this is gorgeous, I love your colouring hun, and the flowers look fab, might have to pinch (borrow) your idea with the gloss lol, your signature looks fab hun, I've made my background transparent so can't use mine TYPICAL lol,
We,ve had rain everyday for over 4 weeks now but no hail stones thankfully, but not much sun either, you just can't seem to win can you? it's also very cool here more like autumn, I think the summers gone here for good this year do you think 3 days of really good weather counts as summer? lol
Enough of my moaning hun, you'll never visit again he he, have a lovely weekend hugs Liz xx

Hi Sylvia, this is so so FABULOUS, love it so much.
we have had storms here in Lincs this afternoon, we had that much rain in came in the house in the form of a constant drip, so the roof evidently needs sorting. so I too am fed up with the weather.
hope you have a good weekend love chris xx

The orange and green colours are bright and cheerful on a rainy day. The hailstones explain the damage to my plants when I got home from work.

Stunningly gorgeous card, Sylvia. Love the colour combi. Didn't have hailstones, but the thunder and lightning was pretty spectacular, as was the river that our street became!

I love your step card, I like having white space in a card and you don't see it very often at the moment.
I love this colour combination and the way the punched flower centres match the girl's flower is a lovely touch.
Your post signature and watermark on your photo are very very snazzy, I likey.

Hi Sylvia.
I have just read your comment, thanks so much. I have intermittent 'puter access. We have to pay for the internet so it's just the odd hour here and there. Sounds like you've been having very strange weather in Yorks. From other bloggers the weather in the UK sounds pretty iffy! We are having great weather on the whole but it tends to rain every night from about 5pm, still that's the mountains for you which are absolutely stunning I have to say. You would love it here. The hotel is amazing and the food out of this world. I'll tell you all about it when we have coffee next.
See you very soon.
Hugs Lisa
Ps the card is beautiful, what a gorgeous image.
