As it is almost Valentine's Day, I have used lots of hearts, and lots of red! Hubby and I don't send Valentine's cards any more - well after 46 years of wedded bliss, it seems kind of unnecessary!! (I would love to know what you think about that)!!!!!!!!

Recipe:-
Cream base card.
Tiny Hearts - Woodware cartridge punch. Attached with 3-d pads.
Paper used for the hearts - SU "Love Letter" designer paper set, plus 3 hearts cut from red glitter card.
Red card layer - SU Real Red.
Sentiment - PSX (from 1999, so probably retired), inked with ColorBox Pigment Brush Pad - Scarlet, and heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Berry Red Aurora EP.

Wow, 46 years Sylvia, that's fabulous. Have to say I'm not very romantic and don't really see the point in Valentine's day - I'm sure there will be plenty who disagree with me though! Lol. Beautiful card, the papers are lovely. xx

43 years for us in April and we haven't sent Valentine cards since the first year, or Anniversary cards, apart from 25th and 40th, my Hubby thinks all cards are a waste of money but I do get a Birthday card, under protest.

I love all your hearts, Sylvia, it's a very classy Valentine's card.
Our Neighbours have been married for 51 years and they re-use their birthday and Anniversary cards every year which I think is really funny, we always have a laugh about it. You don't need cards to tell someone you care but it's whatever works for you I think.

Sylvia, you've made a beautiful card. Congrats on 46 years together...and I wanted to add....my hubby and I have been married for 31 years and we rarely give each other gifts. Seems like nowadays people just get what they want and don't have to wait for an "occasion". I still give him a card though...and sometimes he slips into my craft room and makes me a card...mind you it's never fancy...hand drawn hearts, etc...but I know he made it with love...and that's what really counts!
