GLORIOUS COLOURS AND A BREAK AT FYI .

Hello my lovelies!  Hope your week is going well?
***
This will be the last  FYI challenge for a while  - Steph has decided to have a much-needed  break for a few months, but hopes to return in January.
********

There are some amazing colours in this fortnight's inspiration photo,
and as soon as I saw it , Alcohol Inks sprang to mind!
(oooh - messy and inky - how fab)!
So out came the gorgeous colours - Wild Plum, Butterscotch, Willow, Aqua, Denim and  Stream.  The bottles of ink were  swirled and dabbed onto acetate in a very abstract way  (great fun!),  then the acetate was layered onto white and black cardstock..
Sentiment  from the SU Curly Cute set.
**********
Do pop over to FYIfor all the challenge details and some fab. DT inspiration!

~Have a happy happy day ~

Morning PP

Wowwwww you've certainly captured the colours from the photo.. in a fabulous landscape ... Love it! The sky is perfect... not often we see it that vibrant but when we do..... it's stop and stare time! I think it's definitely a Yorkshire scene!

I've had fabulous times playing with alcohol markers.... So messy and enjoyable.. I really must dig them out again and give them a go!! Now.... I wonder if I have a pink one???? I would think it's more than likely..... hehe

Big hugs

Hi Sylvia!

WoW!!! This is so effective! Must pinch this idea and get those never used alcohol inks out of the cupboard! It looks a bit like encaustic art! I love it backed onto the white and black! Stunning! Have a great day!

What a fabulous interpretation on the photo. To make the whole scene from the alcohol inks without a need for stamps or embellishments of any kind is brilliant work.

Hi Sylvia, This is loads of fun, gorgeous colours all swirled around, I love the way you've controlled it enough to still retain the effect of the foreground and the sunset. Fabulous card, hugs Gay xxx
