Thanks for popping over here lovely bloggers - I hope you are all enjoying sunshine wherever you are. It's been glorious weather for the last few days here in West Yorkshire, and I had to kick myself up the proverbial to come indoors and join in with the Fashionable Stamping girls, but I really wanted to take part in their Tag Time challenge! I don't often do tags - I find the small space a challenge in itself, but I do love trying something out of my comfort zone now and again!! Here it is ......................!

Recipe:-
"Serena" stamp - Stampsmith.
Penny Black Sentiment
Crafty Individuals vintage text stamp.
Postal stamp - Crafty Secrets.
Copic Light Pink on tiny flowers.
SU Linen thread.
Black Versafine Ink.
Black Versafine Ink.
Ribbons, lace and heart charm from stash.
Charm painted with white acrylic, and the white lace was coloured with Distress Ink.
Charm painted with white acrylic, and the white lace was coloured with Distress Ink.
White card, roughly torn then run through a ribbler before colouring with DI inks and white acrylic paint.
Distress inks - Vintage Photo, Antique Linen.
Hand stitching with Linen thread.
The middle layer (with the eyelet) was a fab. clothing tag on a recent purchase of a jacket from Debenhams!!! Inked it, distressed it, stamped it - Job Done!!
Have a wonderful week - I won't be around for a few days

It is a good job that we are not all the same and tags and this type of image are not me at all, but there again things I do are not other people thing either, BUT that doesn't mean that I can not appreciate the work that has gone into the creation and this looks fabulous.

Regarding your comments about making tags - I feel exactly the same way:)
But you've made GORGEOUS one! The torn bottom, your use of acrylic paints and distress inks - they're all perfect details to this wonderful vintage creation! I also think the 3 cross stitches are fab details.
Well this looks totally in your comfort zone Sylvia, such a gorgeous shabby tag. I love the corrugated texture, the tearing, the lace and the layers, in fact everything. You did a great job girl. Thanks for sharing this at FSC.
