Hello lovely bloggers!
How quickly the weeks fly - it's time already for another fab. challenge at
Your Hostess this fortnight is the very talented Marie, ( BaileyRosy.)

Apologies for the photo - the vellum is not this colour IRL, and despite "tweaking" it, the vellum still looks grey. Even the Glimmer Paper stars refused to shine! Hey-ho - that's life!
Apart from the time spent tweaking, this was a very quick and easy card!
I ripped four layers of vellum to create the snowy hills (2 layers for each hill).
The trees were stamped on vellum with SU Whisper White Craft Ink, then sprinkled with
Dazzling Diamonds glitter whilst the ink was wet. (this fabulous ink takes quite a while to dry - the glitter helped to speed the process)!
The tree stamp and co-ordinating punch are from the SU "Festival of Trees" bundle.
Sentiment from the same set.

Our winner will receive 3 digi images from our generous sponsor, Scribbles Designs.
Come and join in the fun, and have a happy crafting fortnight!
Hugs

Beautiful card Sylvia, I bet it's so sparkly IRL and I love how you've used the stitching to frame it and to attach the vellum. Fab! Xx

What a brilliant card! Love the design and those glittery trees against the kraft is so effective.
Love your card and will attempt to recreate it.
Very clever Sylvia, I would have run a mile at this challenge, love the scene and the trees and all the sparkly bits, would have looked even more stunning on black or navy card, me thinks,

Gosh I just adore the layers of ripped vellum! Simply lovely card.
Gorgeous winter scene and love the touch of glitter. I know what you mean about photographing vellum its a nightmare but your snow looks more realistic. As always a beautiful CAS creation.

LOVE!! Great use of the vellum for your snowy banks Sylvia. Love how you've layered two for each snowy hill. And those trees are GORGEOUS ... love them cut from vellum with the dazzling diamonds design --- so, so pretty! And the stitching is not only a fun addition to the card, but a great way to keep the vellum layers in place without having to use glue. LOVE this design ... the perfect CAS Christmas card! Loll xx

But it still shows a stunning creation! I do love velum but attaching to the project can be a problem but I see you've sewn your velum - clever!
Have you also sewn the trees?
Stunning card Sylvia. Love the vellum on the background card..........isn't it sooo annoying how these gorgeous glittery cards refuse to photo properly! Still, we all know how fab it is IRL.
Hugs.
