VALENTINE HEARTS, AND A SKETCH AT LESS IS MORE ......

Hi lovely bloggers, it's lovely to "see" you, and many thanks for popping by.
*****************
My card today is for week 52 at LESS IS MORE
where the challenge is to work with a sketch. Do pop over and visit the wonderful Mandi and Chrissie for full details, and some inspirational cards.
Huge congratulations to Mandi and Chrissie, on the 1st Anniversary of LESS IS MORE - thank you for all the wonderful challenges you have given us.
************
As it is almost Valentine's Day, I have used lots of hearts, and lots of red! Hubby and I don't send Valentine's cards any more - well after 46 years of wedded bliss, it seems kind of unnecessary!! (I would love to know what you think about that)!!!!!!!!

Recipe:-

Cream base card.
Tiny Hearts - Woodware cartridge punch. Attached with 3-d pads.
Paper used for the hearts - SU "Love Letter" designer paper set, plus 3 hearts cut from red glitter card.
Red card layer - SU Real Red.
Sentiment - PSX (from 1999, so probably retired), inked with ColorBox Pigment Brush Pad - Scarlet, and heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Berry Red Aurora  EP.

I am also entering my card into Pixie's Crafty Snippets #5

A BUTTERFLY SILHOUETTE FOR LESS IS MORE ...........

Hi peeps - hope you are all well and enjoying some winter sunshine wherever you may be.
**********
I have been searching through that dark corner of my craftroom again, and found another
forgotten, yet suitable stamp for this week's challenge at LESS IS MORE - which is SILHOUETTES!
Mandi and Chrissie, the lovely LIM Divas, have some fabulous inspiration for us, as always, so do pop over to take a peek.

Recipe:-
Flutterby stamp from Imagination Crafts, stamped with Ranger Jet Black Archival ink onto rectangle of white cardstock.
Punched circle mask for the setting sun, then the sky was created with Distress Inks - Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, a soft touch of Fired Brick, and Weathered Wood - all applied with Cut 'n Dry foam.
More butterflies stamped above the rectangle.
Sentiment - one of my all-time favourites from PSX (dated 1999 so probably discontinued) ?
A little Glamour Dust added to the sun.
**********
I am also entering this card into the following challenge:-
Quirky Crafts - Clean and Simple!
Update - December 5th - my card won 1st Prize at Quirky Crafts - thanks DT ladies!

Love to all, and welcome to my new followers -  Geraldine, Vicky, Debbie and Joan !

LESS IS MORE - OFF CENTRE!!

Hi lovely Bloggers - just popping by with a card for the
Less Is More Challenge, which this week is "OFF CENTRE". I was in one of those "dark colour and bling" moods, when I made this (plus a ginormous Butterfly), so here it is!!

The purple card is Bazzill, the Butterfly die is Marianne (coated with Glamour Dust) and the stamped swirl is from Crafty Individuals. "With Love" sentiment - a very old favourite from PSX.
Hope you like it ~
