FLOWERS AND DREAMS!

Hi peeps - thank you for visiting!
Just popping by to share a card, using a beautiful dreamy stamp I bought from Blade Rubber when
I met up with the ATCAS girls in London a few weeks ago.

The square trellis die is Boudoir by Tonic, cut from SU Crumb Cake cardstock.
The background is SU Soft Sky card, layered onto a Crumb Cake base card .
The stamp is Judikins "Leda", stamped with SU Crumb Cake ink, cut out with a
Spellbinders circle die, edges inked with Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass & Vintage Photo.
********
Dies used -
For the flower - Tim Holtz Tattered Florals and Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms. LOTV patterned paper for the base layer, over-stamped with SU "Music Notes" Stampin' Around Wheel.
Swirls and small flower sprays - a mixture of Memory Box  Geneva Vine and Whimsical Flourish.
Sentiment - Lili of the Valley Vintage Sentiments set. Distressed with DI, as above.

DIES AT ADDICTED TO CLEAN AND SIMPLE!

Wow lovely Bloggers - doesn't Christmas come and go in a flash!  It  seems like only yesterday  I was decorating the tree, and now it's almost time to take it down, which always makes me feel rather sad (Awwww)!!
Anyway, I hope you are ready to join us at ATCAS, for our very first Challenge of 2014!

Our lovely Hostess is the very talented Loll who has chosen this  Code Word .....

So, we would like you to use Die(s), and, as always, the design must be
Clean and Simple, with plenty of open space!
Here is my DT card - do pop over to ATCAS to see what the talented Teamies have created, and leave them some lurve!

I have used the Memory Box Prim Poppy die and a Spellbinders Small Classic Squares die.
The colouring behind the aperture was created on a separate piece of white cardstock, using  Distress inks, then lightly spritzed with water.
I  die-cut one Poppy from a left-over piece of the inked card, and placed it on the left.
A second Poppy was cut from white cardstock and placed inside the aperture.
The sentiment stamp is another of my old, all-time faves - from PSX (1999), inked with SU Smoky Slate - a beautiful soft colour.

Our generous Sponsor is Deedees Digis  - the winner will receive 3 Digi sets of their own choice.  Deedee has some amazing digi images, and it's well worth
popping over there to take a peek!

A DISTRESSED POSTCARD!

Hello my wonderful friends, visitors, bloggers and anyone else who happens to be passing by!   Welcome!
I am sharing a card which I made just for the sheer fun of it - my mojo has been missing recently so I thought it was time to get out the inks and just have a play.
I bought this gorgeous Noor stamp several months ago - one of those "I've GOT to have it" moments, and this is it's first outing - how naughty!!

Recipe:-

Cardstock - Stampin' Up (Wisteria Wonder layered onto Basic Black).
Stamp from Noor Designs at Joycrafts.
The Rose is coloured with Copics.
Distressed postcard, flourishes and all edges, are coloured with Distress Inks.
Diecut  - Spellbinders Fantastic Flourish Two (cut out twice).
Sentiment - Penny Black.

I am entering the following challenge -

VINTAGE SEW-N-SEW!

Hi lovely friends and bloggers - I hope you are well, and enjoying warm weather wherever you are.
I have been stamping and inking today, to create a card for the
Sew-n-Sew challenge at Fashionable Stamping.

Stamps used:-
Crafty Individuals sewing sets - CI-328 and 322.
Indigo Blu crackle background.
A beautiful stamp from the Flonzcraft Gibson Girl Collection, which was my fabulous winner's prize from Fashionable Stamping in the June "Tag Time" challenge. I cut out the stamped image, added some lace and attached her with silicone glue to add dimension.
***
Other items:-
A small brass oval frame, coloured with Gesso and DI.
The "reflection" in the mirror was created by inking the stamp and rolling a brayer over the inked image, then transferring it onto a piece of card.  Image softly coloured with Copics and trimmed to fit the frame.
***
Copics to colour the main image.
Distress inks and Archival Coffee.
Machine stitching.
Buttons and cotton thread.
Spellbinder's Fancy Tags Two.
Brown lace from stash.
Cardstock - SU Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip.

I would also like to enter the Vintage (or Old) challenge at
Simply Create Too.

A warm welcome to my latest followers - Michal, Chris, and a mysterious lady who is sitting out the back - would love to know who you are so I can pop over and leave you a comment!
